Dong A University in Da Nang has provided more than 200 free bus tickets worth more than VND40 million to its underprivileged students from 16 central provinces so they can visit their families for Tet in their hometowns. They also awarded 10 scholarships worth 3 million VND to first-year students. Scholarships worth 1 million VND each were given t to another 10 diligent poor students.
This is the eleventh time that Dong A University has put together a significant program to assist students with bus tickets. Up to this point, the school has paid for nearly 4,000 poor students’ bus tickets, each costing VND200,000.
